Branch #7 Kelowna  BCOTFA

The British Columbia Old time Fiddlers’ have 13 active Branches around the province of British Columbia and Kelowna is Branch #7.

Our Branch #7 has about 50 members, 30 of which are musicians with fiddles, keyboard, guitar, accordion or drums.  We have about 20 fiddlers from beginners to advanced and play from pre-prepared programs at homes, dances and public events.  At last count we put on 150 volunteer performances each year.

Just a note to let everyone know that we have upped sticks and moved into our new digs for practices starting in the Fall! We will be moving our practices to TUESDAY evenings, tentatively starting at 6:30pm in September.

We're so appreciative that the Knights of Columbus have welcomed us into their new building at 130 McCurdy Road. It's a brand new shiny space and it is so lovely!

Tentatively we hope to have a beginner session "Fiddlin' For Fun" from 6:30 PM until 7:00 PM before the regular practice for gigs, dances, and new tunes.

If you want to join a jam please in check with John at 250 717 8432 to make sure there hasn’t been a change or cancellation.
